Sabudana(Sago) Kichdi


Ekaadashi Special, a perfect breakfast or snacks recipe.

Cooking time : 20min | Serves : 2


  1. Sabudana(Sago) – 1 Cup
  2. Ground nuts(granular) – 1/4 Cup
  3. Cooking Oil – 4 table spoon
  4. Green Chilli – 3 to 4
  5. Lemon juice – 1 table spoon
  6. Coriander leaves – for garnish
  7. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 table spoon
  8. Mustard seeds – 1/4 table spoon
  9. Salt – for taste

Preparation Method:

  1. Rinse the sabudana(sago) well , sprinkle some water and keep it aside for 4 hours(until it becomes soft)
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let it crackle
  3. Then add green chilli ,sabudana and turmeric powder and stir well for 5min.
  4. Add ground nuts(granular) and salt and stir well
  5. Add chopped coriander leaves

Take the kichdi in the serving dish, add lemon juice, mix  and Serve Hot!
