Time to Prepare  : 25min | Serves : 4

Ingredients:

  1. Bhel (puffed rice) – 4 cups
  2. Onion – 4
  3. Tomato – 2
  4. Green Chillies – 4
  5. Bengal gram powder – 1cup
  6. Sugar – 1 table spoon
  7. Cooking Oil – 5 table spoon
  8. Salt – for taste
  9. Sesame seeds – for tadka
  10. Red chilli powder – 1/2 table spoon
  11. Plain sev – for garnish
  12. Coriander – 1/2 cup
  13. Lemon juice – for garnish

Preparation Method:

  1. Heat 4 table spoons of oil in a pan, add sesame seeds and let it crackle
  2. Then add chopped green chillies and onions and fry until it turns slightly brown
  3. Then add chopped tomatoes and stir for 5 – 7minutes. Add 2 table spoon of finely chopped coriander leaves and stir well. Turn off flame
  4. Take bengal gram powder in a bowl, add water to get a semi-liquid consistency(like bajji flour mix). Add 1 table spoon oil to the mixture and then add salt, sugar and red chilli powder and stir well
  5. Now add bhel into the cooked vegetable pan, add the bengal gram powder mixture, a pinch of red chilli powder and mix well until all the ingredients blend well

Take it in a serving dish, add a bit of chopped onions, coriander, lemon and sev for garnish! Eat and enjoy!
